Germany has delivered Ukraine the first batch of new Gepard ammunition, and Belgium bought Sea Sparrow missiles.

Ammunition for anti-aircraft self-propelled artillery installations was produced on a new production line of the Rheinmetall company, the German Ministry of Defense reported. “The war in Ukraine reminds us almost every day that the defense of our own country depends on air defense and a sufficient amount of ammunition. With the resumption of production of Gepard ammunition, we are focusing precisely on these two important aspects,” said German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius. At the same time, L’Echo writes, the Ministry of Defense of Belgium bought Sea Sparrow missiles from Germany, some of which are intended for Ukraine. A total of 14 rockets were purchased, eight of which will go to Ukraine. It is also reported that Germany has just decommissioned the last frigate that used these American munitions. Ukraine can adapt them for ground or drone-based use.
