According to US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, the new military aid package includes more ammunition for US-provided HIMARS and howitzers and ammunition for Bradley infantry fighting vehicles, armored vehicles, munitions and explosive equipment, and other maintenance, training, and support capabilities. According to CNN, this aid package will, for the first time, include Armored Vehicle Launched Bridges systems, which guide crossings over trenches and narrow water obstacles. The aid will come directly from US stockpiles as part of the President’s write-down order. As a result, the weapons and equipment will arrive in Ukraine quickly.
